I am a 19 year old Law and Journalism student in Brisbane, Queensland.  I am enrolled at the Queensland University of Technology, which I chose for its hands-on approach.  I also work part time in the education system, although I’ll keep my exact job private.  Finally, I have recently become a news contributor at 4ZZZ.fm, where I work hard to uphold the motto “AGITATE. EDUCATE. ORGANISE.”

Despite my very serious-sounding double degree, I am still clinging onto the dream of becoming a writer.  I have published one picture book, one short story and one essay, and have won the Future Leaders’ Writing Competition and the CYA “Hatchlings” Competition for Young Writers.  I have also participated in Eyeline Publishing’s Write About Art Masterclass, ABC Radio Talkback Classroom, and was interviewed by ABC Radio Darwin in 2009 regarding music album covers throughout the latter half of the 20th century.

My other interests include reading, language, history, fashion, music, and art.  These, amongst other things, are what you can expect to find on my blog.
